Dr. Wright sees patients 18 and up.
Dr. Wright attended the University of Texas at Dallas for her Bachelors degree in Neuroscience and Masters in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience. She then attended UNT-HSC in Fort Worth for Medical School and UT-Southwestern for her General Psychiatry residency.
Dr. Wright does not take insurance. However, a superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance for out of network reimbursement. Medicare patients cannot submit for reimbursement.
Psychiatrists are medical doctors with at minimum undergraduate training and 4 years of graduate training in medical school. They also have at least 4 years of residency training in psychiatry, neurology, and general medicine. Some psychiatrists go on to specialize in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Geriatrics, Sleep Medicine, Addiction, and Forensics. Psychiatrist use a combination of treatments including medications and therapy to treat patients with mental health conditions.
Dr. Wright's graduate training in neuroscience and medical training as an osteopath set the foundation for her integrative approach to patients. Dr.Wright considers your developmental history, past trauma, general health conditions, and relationships when treating your condition. Her holistic approach to treatment includes psychotherapy, integrative medicine, and evidenced based psychopharmacology.
